The DS90UB934-Q1 FPD-Link III deserializer works in conjunction with the DS90UB913A/933-Q1 serializers to support video transmission requirements with an ultra-high-speed forward channel and an embedded bi-directional control channel. The DS90UB934-Q1 is an improvement over previous generations of ADAS FPD-Link III deserializer devices, such as the DS90UB914A-Q1, with higher bandwidth support and other enhancements.
DS90UB934-Q1 FPD-Link III Camera Deserializer Evaluation Module
The DS90UB934-Q1 is an FPD-Link III deserializer that converts serial camera data inputs into parallel LVCMOS outputs. When combined with the DS90UB913A/933 Serializer, the DS90UB934-Q1 receives data from a 1 megapixel image sensor and supports 720p/800p/960p resolutions at 30Hz or 60Hz frame rates. The input has a 2:1 multiplexer so that two cameras can be connected, with pin or register control over which camera is active. The EVM has two Rosenberger FAKRA connectors and a configurable PoC voltage to support connection to the appropriate camera module (sold separately). It also has an on-board MSP430, which serves as a USB2ANY bridge to the PC, and the evaluation module can be used with the analog LaunchPAD GUI tool.
